There’s nothing we love more than showing up for our local communities and celebrating the Aussie heroes who show up for us every single day. Over the past few months, we’ve been a proud fundraising supporter of Surf Life Saving clubs across Australia and now, we’re gearing up for the big moment: the very first Red & Yellow Day on March 4, 2026.
Red & Yellow Day is a nationwide celebration recognising the thousands of Surf Life Saving volunteers who dedicate their time to keeping our beaches safe.
Our community has already been getting behind the cause like the legends they are, through donations and Bear Hug purchases both online and in venue. Support on your terms.
Red & Yellow Day is our chance to take that support even further – to celebrate together, across the country, the volunteers who make our beaches the heart of our summer memories, just like Yo-Chi. Because nothing says community quite like coming together for the people who make our beaches, and our summers, a safe place to be.
If you’re looking to financially support our communities, there’s still time to help us continue raising funds for Surf Life Saving clubs across the country. It’s never too late to show your support.
Our limited edition Red & Yellow Bear Hug plushies are available for cuddles (and purchase) at every Yo-Chi venue and online – Shop Here. All profits from Bear Hug sales go directly to local Surf Life Saving clubs, helping them continue their incredible work. We’re proudly supporting 70 SLS clubs local to our venues across Australia – see where the love is going!

You can also support the cause by dropping spare change into our Change for Change donation boxes in venue nationwide. Even better? We’re matching every cent donated, sending it straight to Surf Life Saving Australia, so that they can always be Sharing the Chi as best as they can.
Supporting Surf Life Saving is what Sharing the Chi is all about – backing the communities and volunteers who make Australia such a special place to live, visit and swim.
We’re incredibly proud to have spent the last few months fundraising alongside our community, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate Red & Yellow Day with you all.
So grab your mates and help support those who support us.
