Yo-Chi announces third gourmet dessert chef collaboration with pastry chef Anna Polyviou

Yo-Chi has announced its third collaboration with some of the nation’s most awesome dessert chefs, this time with award-winning pastry chef and dessert expert Anna Polyviou.

Available throughout October in Yo-Chi stores across the country, Polyviou’s limited edition topping is a mouth-watering baked vanilla cheesecake with passionfruit and lemon curd. Polyviou recommends pairing her topping with Yo-Chi’s Signature Tart, combined with strawberries and warm crumble for the ultimate experience.

Polyviou rose to the chef’s challenge, creating a thick and creamy cheesecake with a thin crunchy base that melts in your mouth. Polyviou took over from last month’s chef collaborations with Darren Purchese, who created a decadent red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting and Pierrick Boyer who in August created a salted caramel mud cake.

Polyviou is a familiar face on the culinary scene winning Chef of the Year at the 2017 Tourism Accommodation Australia Awards, 2016 Pastry Chef of the Year by Gault&Millau and 2016 Hotel Chef of the Year by Hotel Magazine. The Melbourne-born chef is also the author of the best-selling Sweet Street and children’s cookbook Kids’ Corner. Polyviou’s fun personality and distinctive, hot pink mohawk also regularly light up our screens with her role as a guest judge on MasterChef Australia and as the host of Family Food Fight. Polyviou has also hosted many cooking segments across the networks with her rockstar flair.

Anna Polyviou’s baked vanilla cheesecake topping will be available in all Yo-Chi stores during the month of October.
